40 Years Providing Coats to Kids in Need

This Year’s Coat Drive Runs September 22nd – November 14th.

Each year there are children without adequate winter protection. Pilgrim Dry Cleaners Coats for Kids drive was founded in 1986, by Don Rosen, to ensure that children in need would have access to warm coats each winter. Since the beginning of our drive, we have collected a total of over 480,000 coats to help Minnesota families in need. From mid-September to mid-November every year we encourage you to donate your new and gently-used children's and adults' coats at any of the 28 Pilgrim Dry Cleaners locations or any Davanni's Pizza locations throughout the Twin Cities metro area. Pilgrim Dry Cleaners cleans the gently-used coats and distributes them to local charities & schools.

Our Coats for Kids drive for 2025 has started!

Our Coats for Kids collection continues to exceed expectations year after year, thanks to the incredible support of our sponsors and community partners. Despite our best efforts, demand for warm winter clothing always outpaces our supply.

We invite businesses, schools, churches, and organizations to join our coat drive each fall.

Let's work together to make this another successful Minnesota Coats for Kids campaign!
Our 2025 sponsors are: Kare 11, Davanni's Pizza, Alerus Mortgage, KDWB, Big Blue Box Co, Zerorez.
